With a cat over 40 pounds, there’s more to love.

On Wednesday, Richmond Animal Care and Control announced that their largest feline resident, Patches, was adopted. The enormous cutie weighs in at 40.3 lbs.

It took less than one day for Patches to find his forever home. Shortly before he did, the animal care center put out a Facebook listing, sharing his best qualities.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A top administrator with Washington’s health insurance exchange apologized to House members on Wednesday for the data breach that resulted in the disclosure of personal information to thousands of users, including members of Congress.

Galveston Children’s Center closure: Shelter’s leadership no longer working for the charity amid health investigations

GALFESTON, Texas (KTRK) — Eyewitness News has learned more information about the shuttered shelter in Galveston after health officials discovered lead poisoning among some residents and filthy living conditions.

The county had evicted the charity, ending its 30-year, rent-free lease. On Tuesday, the charity itself held a press conference. They told ABC13 the executive director is retiring and the shelter director is no longer working for the charity.
